Syringa hyacinthiflora Lavender Lady (Lammerts, 1953) - One of the best old-fashioned lilac-colored lilac for warm winter areas it produces spectacular clusters of rich fragrant lavender flowers with the divine lilac fragrance. Blooms mid-season, typically in mid-May. Open branched, upright form is useful as a hedge, screen or accent. Tolerates mild, periodic drought when established. Deciduous. Family: Oleaceae
