Chaenomeles speciosa Contorta - a compact cultivar that features twisted and contorted thorny dark brown branches which have year round ornamental interest. It typically grows to only 2-3' tall and as wide. Pinkish cream to white flowers bloom in March. Yellow fruits may follow the flowers. Dark green leaves are curly. Family: Rosaceae
